We are all about picnics these days. With the shelter in place + social distancing orders, we are getting creative with changing location for lunch and dinner. Nick and I have a favorite picnic spot we found years ago. We vowed we’d go picnic there every year, but of course last summer, ‘we were too busy’ (insert eye roll). Well the silver lining in social distancing and no restaurants being open, we finally made it back to that picnic spot and we’ve since found a few more beautiful locations. We have also been picnicking at home, it’s Olivia’s favorite way to dine. Here are some recipe ideas for your next home picnic and where to picnic in Bozeman, MT.
Layer salad, drizzle dressing over the salad. Bring a small extra bowl to mix salad together once at picnic spot
Mix all ingredients together. Take a potato masher or fork to mash the chickpeas (I personally put mine into my Vitamix, you just don’t want it too cream. Keep it chunky). Serve on bread or dip crackers into mixture.
